lug nut thread size?

Hi guys, I ordered a set of Mcgard lug nuts for the car. I thought 12mm X 1.25 was the correct size but these don't seem to fit my 03 maxima. Did I order the wrong size? Or did they put wrong lugs in the package? What is the correct size?

12x1.25 is correct. Are these for your stock rims or aftermarket?

What difference does it make whether they are stock or aftermarket? I'm not changing the rotors....

Are they not threading properly or do they not fit in some other way?

It matters for a bunch of different reasons (rotors would have nothing to do with it either)...sometimes aftermarket wheels have smaller seats for the lugs and they won't screw in because they are too wide for the seat. I know that McGard doesn't offer small diameter wheel locks because I contacted them directly twice and they have nothing for my aftermarket wheels so I had to get Gorilla so that might be your problem...Also it may matter what type of lug nut you ordered...There are open end acorn shaped spline drive etc and it all depends on what type you need for your type of wheels...and the size you ordered is correct 12mm x 1.25

This should also be in the tires/wheels forum probably.
