Bluetooth for your Maxima

So I just bought myself this lil gadget... haven't received it yet but after thinking over for the last 2 days I decided to get it as I hate walking around with a ear piece looking like some kinda ***, nor I wanna wear one in the car when I drive. I belive Platronics makes these units.

i had something similar to that before bluetooth came out. it plugs into the phone using a 2.5mm jack. it's cool at first, but gets pretty annoying because sound qaulity wasn't that great. i hope this new version is much better though.

someone on here has added blue tooth in their car. Umm, dam, he had a rosewood 4th gen and now has a 5.5 gen. I forget his name but i seen this thread way back. He has the custom leather, i loved his 4th gen, i forget what else he did to his 5th gen.

Are you talking bout the Parrot CK3100 ?

I was going to get one but I didn't wanna go through the installation of the unit, not that its difficult in any way, but I already have a TON of wires behind my head unit from the amps etc. My local Fry's Electronics sells em for 200 bux, which is not too bad but I find the mirror more hassle free with less wires to deal with.

Hopefully I will have the mirror next week hardwired to my car and I shall give you my review on it. I had a Logitech BlueTooth ear piece, but the reception sucked when it was paired to my LG VX9800. It had waaay too much static and was WAY less comfortable than the Platronics ear piece I got for my fiancee.

The kit looks very good. But just curious, whats the advantage of having this kit instead of a headset?
