I installed Yellow Luminics H3's 2500 K on my fogs this past weekend on my 01 max. The light output is good but I am wondering on the wattage. Luminics says the wattage draw is 55W and the wattage output is 130W. I know the 55W is fine and normal but am wondering about the 130 watts draw. After driving tonight for only about 30 minutes with them on alone the lights were VERY hot and I swore I smelled something burning or a hot smell???? Am I going to fry the wiring harnesses or am I just overreacting?
I know recently there was a thread with Irish 44 and several others who compared the yellow fog bulbs and capsules. I saw one of the cars had the Luminics H3's installed so I figured they would be safe to install........PLEASE HELP!!!!!

 

even the stock bulbs get super hot after a while of driving but the luminic ones i'm guessing they use 55W of power and gives off light as if it was a 130W bulb. just like how hid bulbs run at 35W but gives off like 150W or something like that...but you get the idea. if the bulbs are 55W i don't think you'll burn your harness tho.

 

if ur going for the yellow look... keep the stock bulbs and get the capsules from hidtech.com... the capsules output for the yellow light is amazing...
