question for AUTO INSURANCE SAVVY
well i have no clue how auto insurance works but i think my question is straightforward.
DO they raise your ANNUAL PREMIUM just for reporting accidents?
I have been in 2 accidents. For both, the money to repair my vehicle has come out of my pocket because my deductible is $2,000 dollars. Both accidents have been much much less than $2,000 to get fixed.
So in no way have they assisted me this year, but i was curious will they raise my premium just for the fact i was in 2 accidents.

p.s. one more week and shall have my baby again..
oh yeah i missed my car so much that im gonna make it up to her, im gonna start working to get her rims and some Xenons(real ones).

I'm an insurance agent, and I can tell you it's probably just a coincidence. All insurance companies in the US are having to take Rate increases either in 2k, 2k1, or 2k2. The cost to repair the average accident went from $1,000 to $1,500 in 99, so we have to make up for it somewhere.
