I just put them on and the ride is great. I don't like the H&R drop. It is not low enough in the front.

Like the drop!!!! How high are you seating from ground to fender from the front and rear sides?
Man that gap is insane, you can stick your head inside of it. I forgot how it looked on mine that's why I'm surprised. Good choice with the drop.

Sometimes I felt I was driving an SUV with that gap in the front. Not sure about the distance. But you have a similar set-up. Don't you?

Well only in the front!!!! I run H&Rs in the rear. I went with H&Rs in the rear since it drops 1/2" lower then H-techs. Overall 26" allover = perfect!!!

Drop looks good, but your slotted rotors are facing the wrong way. The slots should be facing the front of the car, like \\\ not ///.

looks good. I like the Torque5's, though they do look very small because of the polished lip

Thanks,
Are you sure about the rotors? Is it problematic the way it is set up?

Thanks, I would have got 19's but I did not want too mess with the ride quality or slow it down any more then the 18's do.

Problem no, they just won't dissipate heat the way they are now.

That drop looks very clean, I wanted to go with the exact same configuration. How much did that setup run you?

Actually, that's not always the case:

Which direction should the discs rotate?
It is a popular misconception that the slots or drillings in a disc determine the direction of rotation. In truth, for an internally vented disc, the geometry of the vanes dictates the direction of rotation. There are three vane types in use:

* Straight
* Pillar vane (comprised of many small posts)
* Curved vane

The first two vane types are non-directional, and can be used on either side of the vehicle. The curved vane disc, however, is directional. A curved vane disc must be installed with the vanes running back from the inside to outside diameters in the direction of rotation. Please see figure. Orienting the disc in the manner creates a centrifugal pump. The rotation of the disc causes air to be pumped from the center of the disc, through the vanes, and out through the outside diameter of the disc. This greatly enhances the disc's ability to dissipate heat.

You didn't ask for that. You only asked for the price. I got them at sportcompactonly.com - ask for Steve ext. 173, tell him your an org. member. And to get the springs for that tell Steve that there is a group deal on the org. for them right now.

He is right. Turn them the other way. It's probably not problematic, but there must be a reason why they put them the other way to begin with.

Besides it'll look like you know what you are doing.

Slot direction doesn't matter if you don't have curved/directional vanes in the rotors people. That's what determines which way they go.

It is what I said. You're going to have to look at the venting in the rotors and see if the vanes are curved or if they're just straight. If they're straight then it doesn't matter how they go on. If they're curved then you need to mount the rotors such that they're oriented in the manner described in this pic:

The vanes on a rotor act like a centrifugal air fan, drawing air from the inside of the rotor and flowing it to the outside. The vanes of a directional rotor should arch back like arms on a pinwheel. On the top side of the rotor, the vanes should curve toward the back of the car.
But AGAIN, if the vanes on yours aren't curved/directional like the pic, then you don't need to worry about it.

I just compared the direction of the slots from your pictures to my car on the first page and it looks correct.
