I have an 02 Max with manual climate control. I was wondering if I could put the automatic climate control without any modifications?

 

Without any modifications? No. There are quite a few sensors and a bit of wiring that would be required to do the swap. Not saying it can't be done, but it doesn't seem worth all the hastle.
