No, the 5th gen everyone has here is for North America only. The rest of the world get what we call the I30 here.

Yeah I really don't think the Maxima that is sold in the US and Canada is sold in other countries around the world. What those countries get for the Maxima is the Infiniti I30/I35. I have seen this Infiniti in other countries with the Nissan badge and it's called the Maxima QX. Looks just the same like the Infinit's in the US except it has orange side markers front and rear and it has the side trun signals in the fender, and a different front grille. Everything else looks prety much the same.

Hopefully these links with pics of the QX will work. If not just copy and paste.

Yes its exactly what i have except for the front grille. i am from trinidad. i have been told by a nissan mechanic that the chassis is the same. It also goes by another name which is the Cefiro/Maxima/I30/I35

More accurate than referring to "generations" or years is to refer to the chassis name. The 5th Gen ('00-'03) Maxima and 2nd Gen ('00-'05) I-class are both "A33" chassis cars. The Maximas and Cefiros that are sold overseas are on the same A33 chassis as our cars are, but use the I-class/Cefiro bodystyling instead of the USDM Maxima styling. The A33 and A34 chassis overlap in production years, as the USDM Maxima went to the A34 (6th gen) in '04, but the I35 and other Maximas did not.

Right hand drive versions of the A32, A33, and A34 chassis have been produced for markets other than the US.
