damn i would be interested if i had the money, if you cant sell it try ebay im sure theres a ton of people on their, i mean if there willing to pay double for ae parts that came from courtesy then bound to sell your supercharger

 

You can always start bidding at 3000.. If it doesn't go, it'll just cost you the listing fee.... just remember that e-bay also takes a cut of your final price !!! :-(

Intake plumbing is different. Not to mention you have to beef up the tranny to be able to handle it.

 

and what do you have to add to your tranny to beef it up?

 

If I were going to do it, minimum would be a VB Mod and a Tranny Cooler. Upgraded TC would be nice as would a level 10 rebuild. Then again.. you could wait on the tranny to blow before doing the rebuild heheh

 

I didn't know the Stillen SC was different for the auto vs. the 5-speed.

That probbaly explains the different setups I've noticed from the magazine pictures. One had the filter attached to the SC against the fender where the windshield washer fluid resevior was and the other had a second LONG tube running across the engine bay. I wonder why on the 1st setup, they didn't make a CAI setup for cooler air.

 

It is the same as far as I know. It's just that the auto tranny gets in the way and some more plumbing is needed for the intake. Stillen does not support the SC for autos because of this. I think it was an oversight on their part though.

Does not support as in does not make one or no guarantees? If they don't make the extra plumbing, you can have it done custom or something, right? A S/C is kinda one of my long term mods, and I'd hate to think I couldn't do it cause of something stupid like that...

 

Stillen will not sell you the SC if you have an auto tranny. You can say you have a stick and get it though. Stillen used to sell it for both, but when they found out that it didn't fit, they stopped selling it for autos and made excuses about how the tranny could not handle it. Like you said, you would need some custom work done for the intake setup and it should work out fine.

 

it is possible... Diedrick (i forgot his user name) has a 2000 Auto Maxima with a Supercharger and he said if anyone with an auto wants one just tell Stillen taht you have a 5 speed... they will send you the supercharger and then contact him and his shop will give you all the instructions
