I just installed my Stillen High-Flow yesterday, and when I push the gas pedal while driving, I hear a hissing or whining sound at low rpm, this happens in every gear. Is this normal, I sure that everything is installed properly. Any help would be appreciated. thanx, also, do they make any aftermarket NISSAN emblems, the stock ones look dull. . .

 

i believe that's pretty normal. i have a A/T and at idle it gives that hissing sound. i think it's just that there's so much more air going in and it seems that the cone resonates the sound of the air rushing in. ... heck, personally, i like that sound--especially right when you gun the engine and the car gives a quick hiss before it kicks in.

anyhow, i believe it's pretty normal.

 

yah sounds right to me, i would appreciate any links to places with aftermarket nissan emblems however

 

my 99 does it too with a Pop-charger. It lets out a little hiss/squeek right when you tip the gas pedal, and only in gear, won't make the sound in neutral.

Cai and a K&N drop in filter will also generate a little hiss as well.....however, when its wot, you can really hear her sing......
