Had a new set of Wheel Studs installed on the back wheels. After the installation now have the ABS and Traction control lights on. Have tried un hooking the battery for an hour with no success( to reset the computer ). Anybody got any ideas ?

I don't think the wheel studs are the trigger, I think that's just a coincedence that the lights came on after getting that done.

Anyway it's just a shot in the dark - do a search for ABS and TCS lights. Pretty much everyone comes back with a misfire code -- which ends up being ignition coils.

It's likely one of the wheel sensors. In an '03 I think you need the consult tool to get the codes out (dealer). Disconnecting the battery does not reset it.

Is it ABS and TCS lights or ABS, TCS and SES (Service Engine Soon) lights? 99% sure ABS and TCS = wheel sensor; ABS, TCS and SES = Ignition coils. Either way go to Autozone and the will read your code for free.

Problem solved

Took it back to the mechanic who had installed the wheel studs. When he took off one of the hubs he noticed that the abs sensor was no longer attached to the hub. He pressed it back on ...reinstalled the hub and wheel and after driving for a minute the lights went off and things appear back to normal.
