What offset do i need for 18x8.5 rims...plz help

First off, i know this is a wrong forum, but people at the Wheel/Tire forum never answer...

I was just wondering what offset i should get for 18x8.5. the choices i have are 22, 30, or 40mm offset. I will be running tein-SS coilovers with them. Thanks for your input.

are you sure it is not going to run on the inside, near the coilovers?

I'm getting Nismo 5-spoke 18x9.5 FTW!!!

They're gonna stick out 1 inch each side because they're made for RWD.

i'm sure.

if you run 30 mm your going to be rubbing the fender.

The G35C wheels on my Max are 30mm offset and they sit flush with 245/40/18 tires.

8.5" wheels, I would say go with a 35mm offset. 30, and you will be sticking out a bit too far in the front. My 18x8's have a 30 offset and are perfect....

I have a set of 17x8.5 with 40mm offsets and are wrapped with 245 45, they don’t rub. You may have to trim the excess materials off the inside fender wall, but only on the passenger side. I don’t recommend using a 9 inch with a 30mm offset on the rear. I had to trim the inside where the fender panel and the bumper connect to prevent the tires I have from rubbing and what you are proposing would cause the wheel to protrude an additional 16mm.

To answer the first question: 40mm

What's the right tire pressure for 18"

Hey guys! I got my '03 Maxima wrapped in 235/40-18 tires. I know that stock 16' tires should have 33psi front and 30psi rear, but I have no idea what to put in the new ones. I thought that bigger will need a bit more pressure plus I like when car is a bit stiffer. Any advices on how much to inflate those? Any help would be appreaciated.
