Car Shakes while applying the brakes
The steering wheel shakes while applying the brake going 40 MPH or faster. Nissan told me I need better tires. Another mechanic told me it was the rotors causing problems.
I went ahead and installed high performance rotors, high performance brake pads, installed 18 inch rims and tires. The problem disappeared for a few weeks and now same problem. I changed everything so what’s up?

Please help.

Definately sounds like warped rotors at first, but if you replaced them and it's only been a few weeks... even if the lug nuts were torqued incorrectly they shouldn't warp this fast -- unless you drive a heck of a lot.
When they put on the new tires did they use a Road Force balancer?

The rotors have these slashes..you know what I mean? They are suppose to be better. They are the heat resistant type. The car stops better with these rotors definitely but the shaking problem occurred while I was driving the car with the stock rotors, pads, and 17 inch tires on SE.

So you bought these rotors without knowing what they are? Oh boy.
I bet whomever installed the rotors, did a shoddy job.

I got it done once and the problem was still there, simply because I didn't specify for high speed balancing. how about your basic tire pressures? it just seems way too quick for your brakes to go if its an all new set up.
It (balancing) almost sounds too simple, but then I hadn't had a problem since. at a good shop probably won't cost you more than $20-$30 tops.
did you get oem rotors and pads or something?

I got heat resistant rotors (if you look at rotors they have these slashes) and HAWK pads. Its been a few months since I got all these things. I will ask for highspeed balancing because the car doesn't shake while driving slow and drive alot.
Thanks for the info
