My nephew just called, he said he is somewhat confused on the rear brake lights, he said the bulb is stuck inside.. He just bought the car last week, I have a 4th gen, so I was assuming its just a twist and pull right?..B4 he breaks the harness, am i right or is it different for a 5th gen?

 

either a twist and pull or just a pull. sometimes it gets stuck so you have to yank it out.

 

Are there front brake lights I should be checking?

Anyway, I've had to pull like a mother before on mine so it could just need more elbow grease or possibly he may be holding his mouth incorrectly.

I have 1 2000 Maxima GLE, tail light will not go off, I replace brake light switch, rubber stopper, put new bulb. My problem still exist. Can someone direct me where should I check or troubleshoot. Thank you.

 

its definatley a twist and pull, not yank on it like hell
