I am having a problem where I will accelerate from a light or while trying to pass someone and my car will fall on it's face and then accelerate like it has 2 cylinders. It does it when I have been driving for a while. When I start it and let it warm up then drive it, it has a ton of power. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or would know what it is. I have a new MAF so I know that isn't it.

 

Vacuum leak?

 

I don't know. I am going to try the plugs and then if that doesn't fix it then I don't know. It makes no sense to change the coils if that's not going to fix it for sure. It's hard also cause it's not throwing any codes.

 

02....are u under 60,000 miles? if so its under warranty....

 

wow wierd, usually a problem presents itself when car is fully warm, not vise versa.

 

the problem is when the car is fully warm and after I have been driving it for a while.

 

colud be maf, knock sensor, or misfire

 

How many miles on your car? is it auto or 6speed?

 

I have 95,000 on it. I have a new MAF and it's a 6 spd.
