Flywheel position sensor

hi,
i was wondering if the flywheel position sensor is the one responsible for timing, or is it some other sensor? thanks.

there is a camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor and a flywheel position sensor, right? well, which one of these or two of these have to do with timing? thanks.
