I have been riding on H&R for about over a year now, and all this time the front would bottom out even though I had trimmed the bump stops a bit(half an inch). Most people on the org with H&R claimed they never cut their bump stops and would never bottom out even on NYC streets. I finally had the chance to put my old foam type bump stops and i cut them just over an inch. So now no more bottoming out and on the largest sized potholes the impact seems to be absorbed a lot better. Maybe the weight of the automatic transmission lowers the front a bit more than manual but I am just guessing here, anyone know for sure if there is any weight difference between the two transmissions ?

i was hitting the bumpstops all the time untill i cut them about 1 inch. it's great now. especially with stock struts, you are bound to botoom out all the time. even tho h&r says not to cut them bumpstops, i am a firm beleive that with evey lowring spring you have to cut them. speaking from personal experience.
