I know that the 2001 AE Maxima has "darkened" front lamps. Is their anyway to get my existing 2k se ones to look like the AE lights, possbly replace lights, some sort of spray etc. Whatever is cheapest...Thanks in advance guys, oh and thanks for making my maxima.org experience a cool one, I just graduated from newbie, im so proud :-)

 

You could get new ones...except that they are arounf $240 a piece, and the HIDs are coming out on the 2002 and might be swappable.

You can look into doing something yourself with paint, but if you have to seperate the seal of the headlight lens...make sure to put it back on correctly to avoid any moisture getting in in the future.

 

thats not good, im at the point financially were I have to pump & run gasoline wise, im a 16 year old ***** with a maxima and no job whata joke, so 250.00 for lights is too much, if anyone has any other ideas post

 

Its called Bronze headlights, i think you can get that from the dealer or courtsey nissan. Check with the dealer first, i don't think they cost a lot, its just a color that you fill inside the headlights
