Window Tints

I'm going to get my windows tinted in the next few weeks and just wanted to know what everyone paid and what % they got. I was going to get 35% all around (4 windows + back). The guy said the normal price is $360, but he has a special going on for $260 (includes lifetime warranty). Please let me know if this sound reasonable. Also, can anyone recommend a place in Northern VA.

$360 is way too much and even $260 is a bit high. got mine done for $180 all around except front windshield.

Wow! That's sounds kind of steep. In my area, I only paid $180.00 for all 4 doors and back window. I have 20% bronze tint all the way around.

thats a nikcuf rip off.....no more than a hundred and some change is what you should pay.. the window tint law in VA is 35% in the front and 50% in the back... depending on what county you in they will enforce it though..i got stopped in Fairfax for having 15% in the front but that was just fairfax cause everywhere else i go they don't say shiz...really really though this is a easy task you should be able to do it..

Yep, that seems high. I live in Nashville. I got mine done for around $160, all the way around, at 20%, which is pretty dark. At 20%, it is tough to see at night sometimes.

did you go to a dealer?, jesus thats alot,

my brother paid 150$ a year ago for his maxima, and i got mine done for 190$ by the same guy, just more because he owns his own shop now. 260 is overkill. look around

my bro got his spec v done 35% all around cept for the windshield for 175 including lifetime warranty. Everyone i know usually gets their tints done for less than 200. the prices ur guy is giving you is way too much in my opinion.

These numbers are backwards...it's 50% in the front and 35% in the back in VA. I doubt you'll find anything cheaper then $200 for quality tint in northern VA. I'm going to get mine done soon...I'll let ya know where I get mine and how it turns out.

how far down the windshield does the windshiled strip go? Does the mirror have to be removed, or does it not go down that far? anybody have a better, closer pic of one? tia.

mine goes below the mirror. it's easy to take off and cut around the mounting bracket. it would be too high & useless otherwise. imo.
