What performance mods are available for the 2000 Maxima. I got it about a month ago and am satisfied with the performance, but want a little more power.

oops

i forgot to say my max is auto huh?? hahah well anywhere (almost) will install a remote start for a five speed as long as you tell them "i know you're not suppose to but can u??" and be real nice. but my friends and i installed it together. it's a real pain in the butt. i couldn't have done it myself because i'm not too familiar with the use of relays but if you know how to use relays real well then jsut get the brain, remote start module, chip bypass and you're all set. but u might as well get window crack down. if you go with viper/ DEI then make sure you get the 530 window module. you'll need two if you want the windows to go up and down. if you only want the windows to roll up when you arm the car then you only need one 530.. make sure you don't buy the 529 it's the wrong model.

Really?!? That totally sucks! The ACE7500 is even manufactured to work with a 5spd, its has all the info in the manual, and install books. It has protection features to protect it frmo being started in gear..
If you're in NJ, the Circuit City on Rt 46 near willowbrook mall does it.

you should put a lol or at the end of that because we all know intakes only add a couple HP at the crank (or 1/2 - 1 hp at the wheels)

nice try though

look through the faq's...

I'd suggest GAB and adv. timing for starters... you can do the GAB for free and you can get the dealer to do the timing adv.

y-pipe would be the next mod...you should be able to get 10 whp...

What's there to be baffled about? The numbers are there... and here is another thread for you to consider:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=376123

You have to decide if you want to make your decision based on the numbers or on people's opinions.
