Radio, and ACC removal

Radio, and ACC removal

I think I have an idea how to remove, but what to get some input first. I'm trying to change the lught bulb above the ashtray

Before removing the radio you must pop out the front vents. The vents are held together with clips and you can literally just yank on the vents and they'll pop out. That will expose (I believe) 2 screws. The ashtray also needs to come out. Remove the "felt" like cover so expose a screw. Unscrew and the ashtray should pop out as well. The plastic around the shifter needs to be pulled out to expose the bottom 2 screws. Remove all 4 screws and the radio and climate control come out as 1 piece (held together by 2 brackets from the inside). Mine has auto climate control and it was very easy to remove. Maybe someone could comfirm this since I don't remember 100% off the top of my head. I hope this helps!

No need to do all this.

There is a screw under the ashtray liner. Remove the liner, remove the screw, and pop out the shifter trim to access the ashtray bulb.
