Radio, and ACC removal

Radio, and ACC removal

I think I have an idea how to remove, but what to get some input first. I'm trying to change the lught bulb above the ashtray

Remove the center vent. Remove the lower console around the shifter and under the climate control. Then remove the iso bracket holding the radio and climate control.

The bulbs are twist in with little blue caps. You have to pull apart a section of the climate control to see them. I believe the one under the ashtray is just tacted onto the bottom of the climate control so it should be easy to get to.

BTW: Have you tried smacking the side of the dash? It works for most of those light problems. When I disassembled my dash, I removed each bulb and then slightly bent the contacts before reinstalling. They all work perfect now.

SgtSchulze is exactly right... There are the 4 screws that hold the whole radio/climate control assembly together and then the one underneath the ashtray. The two behind the vents and the two behind the shifter bezel. Thats all it is.
