For those with maxx tuning lip and drop.

I'm thinking about getting a drop this summer as I drive mostly highway and would like alittle more stability at higher speeds, plus, I need to get rid of the wheel gap. The real reason I've been hesitating to get one is because I have the maxx tuning lip and it is low to the ground. I don't want to bottom out, espeically driving in the bronx and the rest of ny. Can you let me know what you are dropped on with maxx tuning lip and how the clearence is? Thanks.

you should be fine if you stick with a mildly dropped spring...such as eibachs, tein h tech or H&R.....if you go with tein S-tech or coilovers, you better be real careful...but with a regular spring, just don't drive too fast and you should be set..

I have the MT lip, with Maxspeed spring drop and an inclined driveway, I clear okay, but gotta watch out for curbs in parking lots!

i had the maxxtunning lip with maxspeeds, and i scraped it all over the place, i got in a wreck, and am forced to go with stillen again, cuz the max tunning lip was just too low, it did look sweet on the car though

Got the MT lip on S-techs. The ride is rough and the clearance pretty low, but you just have to be VERY careful. Had it for almost 2 yrs without any problems though. Just know you can't pull all the way foward in parking lots, no more jumping curbs, and no large inclines.

I konw Kasey has the maxx-tuning and the s-techs... he doesn't really scrape. I'm pretty low myself now...but I have the stillen clip. Haven't bottomed out YET and have gone on some nasty speed bumps. it's all about going super slow and going at the right angle. I've rubbed int eh back..but its' too low. heh..gotta raise that up a little bit.
