Those of you who who have thrown a p0505, did cleaning the IACV and TB make the code disappear?

 

0505 is no error detected. is ur ses light actually on? iacv cleaning is good if the car doesnt start well, or drops revs right after start.

 

The SES light is on. I am throwing a rear o2 code and an IACV code...

My light came on and Autozone pulled up P 505 - Idle Air Control Valve. I'm assuming it is the same since my copy of the servive manual says DTC P0505 Idle Air Control Valve.
Currently I'm experiencing stalling and rough idling when i start my car(worse when car is cold). Also having loss of power when punching it and going uphill.
Going to try cleaning the IACV tomorrow.

 

I cleaned the IACV with carb cleaner, and now when I put it in park, it idles at 1100 rpm. WTF!!! But now I'm not throwing a code! Oh well...
