Price of new cluster? Roughly...

The circuit board behind mine is messed up. The speedometer and gas gauge do not light up at night for a certain amount of time (sometimes minutes, sometimes hours). Basically, the entire left half isn't lit up -- but the trip screen is (which I find weird). Either way, the issue is now I need to have my mileage calibrated if I get a new cluster and I need a price for the unit too. How much are they roughly? And does Nissan do the mileage calibration at the shop? Or somewhere else?

I never took it apart - don't want to screw around with that. And considering the fact that if the bulbs were loose, the light would die out or turn on everytime I hit a big bump or if I would tap the top of the dashboard. That's not the case. It just turns back on at random times. No need for an LOLWTF. I've thought about all the issues already.

Well, that's fine. You want to take the lazy way out, go for it. It will run you around $120 from Dave B.

$120, plus the cost of calibration.....I suggest you check the bulbs first. All you have to do is take out like 5 screws and the whole cluster comes right out. You can access the bulbs without taking it all apart./

I went and priced this some time ago. Here is what Courtesy Nissan told me:

224.94 cluster (SE, no traction control)
35.00 programming
25.00 shipping (from TX to GA)

Good Luck

Thanks. I know it's not bad or loose bulbs. There's a whole bunch of bulbs back there and THE WHOLE left side is BLACK. It's a circuit board problem. So if it were loose bulbs, it'd be one...two...maybe three, but not all of them.
