this was from the GD? Did they get shipped??? or did you just pick them up because you are in Arizona? I am dying for this!

edit: I dont think you need the spring compressor? I am a newb, but can you not take off the stock strut/springs with the top hat on and just replace them with the coils(they look assembled to me?).

Thanks guys, Got the Rears in with no issues. If someone has these coilovers installed, can I get a pic of how they are supposed to line up in the strut tower?

You do need the spring compressor. Technically no you dont but you shouldent leave the stock spring on the stock shock under compression. Its dangerous, thats a lot of stored energy that you dont want to keep sitting around your house

wow, it looks like ksports are not supplying rear hats for the rear coilovers...the older versions, you had to re-use your stock hats...thats cool

Kinda does, but you should take some side profile shots outside just to be sure.

Ksport is fairly new to America, but they have a fair amount of history in Japan as another good, solid mainstream suspension manufacturer. They're not the be-all-and-end-all of suspension, but they make good stuff.

The Ksport set that you're looking at in this thread is the Kontrol Pro, which is what virtually everyone means when they say "Ksports". It goes for the same price or less than the Tein Basic coilover system, but has a lot more features: whereas the Tein Basic only lets you adjust your ride height and sacrifices suspension travel the lower you go, the Ksports let you adjust the shock damping and spring preload in addition to the ride height and can maintain the same amout of travel no matter how low you go. The Ksports also come with front camber plates and stiffer front springs to permit a lower ride height without bottoming out. The trade-offs are a firmer ride and that you need to be a little more careful with the installation (i.e. make sure you tighten the collars with a hammer) to prevent noise.

I have a set of Kontrol Pro coilovers as well, and I like them too. Again, they're not the be-all-and-end-all of suspension, but they're great for what they are. My brother threw a set on his Integra a few months ago, and he's still flipping out at how great they are for that car.

This is the lowest set of coilovers in their lineup, by the way. Apparently unbeknownst to most people, in the last year or so they released a few line of coilovers above it for more serious applications. They also have some very cool products in the pipeline...

Congrats. I love my coilovers as well (D2's). The only problem with 36-way adjustable coil-overs is the fact that there are 36 ways to screw it up! Play around with the settings and you should be able to lose the bouncyness. On my D-2's, I had to add about 1/2" of pre-tension on the rears, crank down the rear dampeners to 100% stiff, and set the fronts to about 30% off stiff and got a ride that is essentially like stock when going straight, but corners like a **** when I want to have fun! no knocks either.

Oh yeah. My steering has become VERY responsive ( presume it will be better after the alignment) I have to get used to that
lol...

When you say there are 36 ways to screw it up do you mean phyisically damage the coilover or just f@ck up your ride?

I left my spring rate (pretension) at default and its great (a little bouncy but nothing bad)...
