Dumb theory on SCing...(auto guys, take a look)
Okay, I've seen a lot of you guys with 5th gens posting about having SC trouble. Especially the auto guys. Now I've got a 4th gen, and the guys with SC'd autos there said they didn't have any trouble.
Which brings my to my theory. We all know that the auto tranny can't handle a lot more power, but we're not sure how much. I read once that JWT said only up to 250hp, an someone else said only up to 210.
Anyway, I think that perhaps Nissan didn't do anything to change the auto tranny when the 5th gen was released, making it a complete carryover. And with the extra 32hp already there, the tranny isn't able to handle the same increase that the 4th gens get from the Stillen SC. So be careful, auto guys.

There are many variables that you have to consider... here are some:
1) The V2's have a problem and Stillen knows it.
2) We have to fix the TCM because Nissan screwed up (slippage)
3) Like you said, the tranny needs to handle the extra hp.
Fixes to these problemss:
1) Can't do anything about that until they fix it
2) Get the TCM replaced
3) Valvebody recalibration
Who did you talk to about the SC on autos? I know first hand that the V2 on a 4th gen auto does have problems. You've probably talked with late V1 owners.
Jane97SE, Jose, 4 Door Skyline, and some other people all had/have problems.
