Hey people, I had the tcm done about 4 months ago and now the slip is more noticeable in 2nd to 3rd!! (This tranny sucks!!) I noticed there is a new tsb out on the solenoid.
Has that finally taken care of this miserable problem once and for all???? I also have a shudder that is ****ing me off! By the way I have a 2000 SE.

The new solenoids fixed everything for me

 

things you should do

1)get dons vb recalibration

2)delete the extra post.

 

The real fix is the solenoid. The new TCM isn't necessary.

Join the club. Hempstead Nissan (Nissan Of Garden City in NY) F***ED My royally. They took their sweet *** time to order the part for the tranny TSB fix and I now need a whole new tranny. Furthermore, the bastards wont even supply a rental or dealer loaner car. What a bunch of BS!!!!!!!!
One good thing came out of this... I walked out of Nissan so mad on Monday that I went to BMW dealership and put my name and 1K$ down on the list for a 2K2 M3 Cabriolet. Should have my baby in April 2002. I love my Max, but Nissan NA handled my case wrong so they lose my future buisiness.
