Another annoying problem
Sound system is acting up, really aggravating and annoying.
2000 GLE, Bose sound system. Seems like at times the sub in the back works and things are well (nice bass). Then at times it decides to stop working for really long times (same settings always). And then randomly it'll start working again.
Ugh, time to go for a diff max?

Very common problem if you do a little audio forum searching. Both the sub and/or the left front speaker cutting in/out. If you're outta warranty, its not worth replacing, unless you find one cheap here or on ebay. Aftermarket FTW.

Have you looked in the trunk to be sure the wiring to the amp and speaker are all secure?
