Optima Red Top install
so lets put some damned usefull info in here and sticky it.
goodle yeilded nothing usefull...except maybe i need a 75/35? i bought a 75/25 and the wires wont connect to the posts. im looking at the little black box connector on the pos side and im not sure how i could modify the fuse holder to modify the mounting bracket. do i need the reverse terminal battery? or what? how can i do this !!!

i got a optima red 35R...the positive wire had to be modified in order to reach the post...so i took a dremel and cut the black plastic shield holding the fuse thingy...
what a pain in the a$$...i ordered it from remy batteries on ebay...and they told me this was the correct fit...looks like it isn't

75/35 is the red top that will fit 5th gens. d75/35 is the yellow top that will fit 5th gens. unless you are going to be like p-diddy and install a semi powerful system in your car, the red top will be fine. the only issue i ran into was the battery tie down. you'll probably have to use something to raise it up a little since it's shorter than oem. you'll see what i mean when you change it.
