look at this gheyness

ok, since I feel bad about making a thread bashing someone else's car, I'm gonna start one flaming myself.

so....I'm going to dig up some cheeseball mods I did back in the day before I "refined" my modding. Actually, one or two still are on the car

the ricer fire extinguisher. not going to be very useful in the trunk, though

cheesy engine fairing thingy

JDM-red ported GAB. JDM, YO!!!!

painted stuff on steering wheel

It would be useful for the newbies if I titled it "lame mods to avoid" perhaps....

besides, all the noobs should know that I didn't always have the fastest, best handling, best sounding, best smelling, best looking, most pimpin', sexiest Maxima on the face of the planet. I had humble beginnings too.

(note: heavy sarcasm)

Wow Irish.......

I like that custom JDM steering wheel color insert modification. Did you use 3M Color adhesive bonder or the tried and true Q-Tip and nail polish

that is a very good question indeed. Wish I knew the answer. IIRC I was painting some other component and was sitting there by the car and thought "what else could I paint while I have this bottle open and this brush here."

Steering wheel is actually still like that. oil-based paint doesn't come off vinyl/plastic very easily.

I actually like it that way, but most people think it looks cheesy. Reminds me of the cheesy steering wheel on my parents' Fiat when we lived in italy.

Ahh yes - the basher thread. I should write me a thesis on the anti-depressant effects of group org bashing. Now bashing yourself - that falls into a whole different catagory. Even Freud can't figure that one out.

I always found these threads the most entertaining for the witty remarks that follow despite their "off-topicedness" nature.

the fire extinguisher isn't ricey...having it in the trunk is a good place to put it...might come handy one day maybe but who knows. i think it's ricey if you put in on your passenger side pillar oh and that painted steering wheel thing do you have a bigger picture of the whole thing? it doesn't look too bad hah

the extinguisher isn't bad... how many times I wished I could put out road side fires when some cars started to burn on the highway.

the fire extinguisher is a pretty hot topic of this thread. I'm surprised no one has e-slapped you for using that forbidden acronym, twice even, while referring to your Maxima. Must I dare to repeat JDM BTW, whose car and in what thread did you proceed to bash

How often does that happen? I think I might have seen one car fire and I am constantly on the highway.
