Question regarding Cattman Ypipe

I am pretty stretched for cash. The cattman ypipe is a little much for my budget. In anyones experience is there a cheaper alternative. I have a 2000 fed spec btw. Thanks

If you're that stretched for cash, put it in the bank and don't buy a ypipe right now. I mean, you'd save $50 or so getting Budget or Warpspeed ypipe, but if that $50 is really a stretch, you shouldn't be wasting your money on a ypipe

Are you serious... i never take anything serious about reviews and etc unless it comes from a 3rd party source.

I got a stillen knock off pipe, they arent made anymore but i picked it up for 90 bux, go in the FS section, people are always selling y-pipes pretty reasonably and trading in there man.

all a y-pipe is, is just a piece of damn bent pipe that has less flow restrictions than your stock setup. budget, cattman, doggman, warpspeed... everything is going to give the same gains. cattman's welds might be a bit nicer, but if you are willing to pay $400 more for better welds on a part that no one will ever see (besides u and your mechanic), then do not but warpspeed, and get cattman...

... and if you are on a budget and are trying to mod your car, forget it. modding cars is EXPENSIVE, that's a fact youll have to live with!!!

Thanks for the input guys. Money is just tight right now since I just had to pay for this semster of school. I think I will just wait and try to get a cattman hopefully for a good deal. Thanks again.

It's marketing, man.....look at the two photos where they say cattman "copied" them....the collectors are completely different...I don't see any copy. What, do they expect Cattman to make a loop-de-loop in the pipe or something to make it "different."

Bottom line is...warpspeed is fine, but their customer service sucks, there HAVE been a number of fitament issues (not sure if they persist)..I've always disliked their lame webpage the claims people are copying them.....please!

With cattman you get:
- A company that stands behind their product
- A guy who actually comes on the org all the time
- Stainless steel ypipe, instead of aluminized steel (which will rust)

I've heard the cattman (on mine) and the warpspeed on soonerfan's, and I have to say that the cattman has a smoother sound - not sure why that is, but it was my impression.

Anyhow, it's your money...these are just my 2 cents.
