Check engine light
I learned something new today. I took the car to the dealer after getting a check engine light. The service advisor simply turned the gas cap until it clicked and reset the light. Problem solved.
I knew I shouldn't have let the wifey fill up the car

I had mine come on last week. Tried the gas cap thing, no such luck so I disconnected the battery for a couple of hrs. Reconnected it, light gone and hasn't showed up since. If it shows up again then I'll take her in for a checkup.

Probably emission problem, it happened to me also, the light just turned on and my i didn't do **** to my car. i took it to the dealer and he told me that the cat is bad so they replaced it for free. I don't understand how a cat can go bad after 4 months.
BTW the dealer told me that if this happenes again they won't replace it. Yeah right!
If check engine light comes on and won't go away it could be this problem here. I was at my local dealership at school and one of the technical told me about my buddies 2k Max being in for the check engine light, he told me to bring my car into any dealer and have them check for car out too. Anyway, the problem why the light comes on is because the computer in the car is not reading/diagnosing the correct programming input thus the confusion causes the cpu in the car to put out the check engine light on. To fix the problem you would have to bring in to the dealer and have them reprogram the computer. it's a quick fix. You can also bring it in to the dealership and have them do a check on the ECM card and check the bulletin to see if your car have that potential problem.
