Extra Part??

For those of you who have intakes (berk, frankencar, etc) did you guys remove the part circled below or did you leave it in??? its part of the old air box but ive seen pics with ppl taking it out and some leaving it in... thanks

Keep it in case you need to go back to stock. Don't ever sell your OEM parts incase you need to go stock.
You can keep it installed. It's just the old stock air intake port. Won't do anything to your performance. Might actually deliver "some" cooler air to your aftermarket intake.

It supplies cooler air to your intake.

Besides, I think our engine bay looks kind of "empty" without this snorkel.

nothing wrong with leaving it there. In theory, it scoops a little bit of cold air into the engine bay....
