Fan stuck

My ac/heater control is stuck in the "face position".... everything seems to work fine and the buttons light up and the fan speed changes but whatever i press it always blows though the vents towards the face... anyone have this problem? if not im thinking try to find a new unit at a junkyard... thanks

that control unit or you have a vacuum issue where it's not allowing your vents to close/open properly.

lol

maybe he doesnt hear hissing because the mode door isnt vacuum actuated?

first off, do you have manual or auto ac? second, if you have auto, have you run the self diagnostic? ive posted the instructions a few times, hopefully theyve made it into the stickies by now. if not, myself or someone else with search can find it.
