I've been interested in this as well. Do you plan on putting a guage in to monitor you transmission temp? If so, do you have a write up on how to do it?

Just found some info for ya. Try this.

http://www.customenterprise.com/view.../vts/design017

You have to drill and put retaining clips in. Guage pod goes over your old platic pillar. That link above will tell you exactly what to do.

I am...LOL but you guys got it all wrong, the triple gauge pod goes over a-pillar. Then you drill four holes, and plug the included pins in place (real simple). It doesn't replace the a-piller. Sorry for not having any pics.

Not sure, call 800-806-5798 (Custome Enterprises) and ask them since they are the ones that sell the pod.

Here's a pic of the pod from their website.

Ahh you see the little black parts in the above piicture those are screws. This is how they are mounted. Theres no clips or anything either mount it over the oem pillar and connect em with screws or remove the oem pillar cut hole for tweeter and mount it with black screws like this guy has.

You do not use screws for this, I guess you could if you get short enough ones, but the pod will/should come with plastic tabs that basically squeeze the pod and the stock piller together.

because anything that's done for show and doesn't serve a purpose, especially the gauges, is RICE!!!

I had one on my 4th gen and was able to jam it down by the windshield and dash. I only used one recessed thin shallowhead screw at the top under the door weatherstrip so no screws were visible.

Hey flamers! he only asked how to install it! Not what you think about the look etc.
