New shocks and warranty

New shocks and warranty
I have a 2003 Maxima SE with almost 90k miles on it. I have stock suspension except added FSTB, RSTB, RSB. All Stock/OEM springs with stock SE shocks + 17 inch Nissan wheels.
I am getting really tired of the crappy ride in my car. I feel every bump, i feel every road imperfection, my passengers feel them too ... due to the harsh suspension, i am sure that some of the new rattles i hear in the car will soon get even worse.
Also, even though, currently the car corners very nicely around town (stable & solid) high speed highway driving is not what i would call "confidence inspiring". If the roads are smooth, the car is great. If they are a little bouncy, i have the feeling that the car may loose control/traction at times. The rear (and front) can really bounce over uneven surfaces. Not a good feeling when going 80+mph.
I know that my OEM shocks are not shot. I tested them and the car really does not bounce up and down when parked. They are very stiff. I think that they are just very limited in capabilities - that's all. I hate them.
So, i am looking at a set of new Tokico Illumina adjustable in combo with my stock SE springs. This should give me better ride and better control than my OEM shocks, correct???
The problem i have is that my car is still under Nissan Gold bumper-to-bumper warranty for the next 15k miles. Somebody told me before that if i replace the shocks, my warranty for the suspension will be void, if not worse.
So, I am open to any ideas that will help me improve my current suspension setup without voiding my Nissan warranty....
Would Nissan really notice if i replace the shocks with Illuminas??
What if i paint the new shocks all black (stock color)?
Will Nissan really care if they see that i put better quality, brand name shocks?
Any advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

They'd probably still notice.
Not really.
They will only void your warranty if it can be proven that your aftermarket parts are the direct cause of the problem.
In other words, you can change them out and everything will be fine.
