Grit or Film on inside headlight....what to do??
I have a 2000 se
The headlights over time have accumulated some sort of yellowish film on the inside cover. It doesn't appear to affect the actual bulb, or area surrounding the bulb. Not sure what part this is called, but if you put your finger on the outside of the headlight, the film is on the other side.
Is it possible to clean this off? Do I have to buy a new headlight kit? Is the housing sealed, preventing me from getting at it? About how much would it cost to put in a new headlight; parts/labor. Only the driver side headlight is affected.
Obviously from the questions above I'm not very Maxima parts savvy, so help me out if you can.
Thanks!

If for some reason it doesn't clear up after you do the polishing method in the link above then search & find the how to on breaking your headlight apart and repeat the same method on the inside.
