Well, My Max Is Focked Up As Well!!!!!!

My wreck also involved a deer, but I didnt hit it. Going to work at 5 in the morning, its raining and well what do you know, a damn deer jumps in the roadway. I swerve to miss it and do, but since it was slick out I end up in a ditch and my car is looking ****ty.

Im gonna assume my frame was bent while taking the roller coaster ride in the ditch. Look at the roof pics.... Deer suck!!!!!!

That looks horrible. Sorry that happend to you. I don't want to hit a deer.

I heard in Driver's Ed class that Deer only move if they use two of their sences. So they see your lights, if you beeped it probably would of moved. If that makes any sence.

why the hell did you swerve to miss a deer? especially while the roads were wet....It's very possible that your frame is bent, but you won't know that until you get it into a body shop...IMO it looks totalled, because most of your body panels (including the most expensive part; the roof) is damaged. That adds up...

I swerved only out of "Oh **** a deer" reflex... After the accident I was hoping the deer was still around so I could shoot it. It was a buck as well, I had friends seriously injured when they hit large deer so either way I would be assed out. I only assume the frame is bent b/c of the way the roof flexed, its at the body shop now and they will give me a holla Monday or Tuesday.

If its totalled, im gonna keep the next vehicle in the nissan family and probably get a Titan. (So I can hit deer)

i asked someone that same question. "why did you swerve?" thinking i was a good driver that could react in a situation like that. my first car proves me wrong!

Naw, actually doing a little below the limit and where I lost traction was in a sharp *** curve. It was a steep ditch, hell of a ride though. After getting out of the car I realized that the damage from the rear quarter panel came from me hitting a telephone poll...could have been a head on deal, I rather be in one piece than the car.

edit: Thx for your concerns. It could have been a hell of a lot worse..roll over, head on with another car etc. etc.... Insurance is gonna pay for everything, Full Coverage FTMFW!!!

I swerved to miss a dear in my mom's spirit about 4 years ago now. Creamed a telephone pole, but since i was speeding and missed the deer it must be all my fault. At least that's what the cops think. @#R%^T@ shoulda hit the #$^Y&# deer. then I wouldn't have this strange gray spot in my BMV records. My advice; clip the deer but don't hit it head-on. Everyone thinks it's bull**** til they see guts and antler marks i swear. What's the most stupid is the car wasn't even worth 2k and it had less than 60k on it with the paint almost perfect on it because of how well it was cared for, so we just totalled it out and made no claims.

I'm just amazed that there's actually mud IN YOUR GRILLE. Sorry for you loss, tho. When I totalled mine 4 months ago, I came out with a check for $4K more than I paid for it, so I bought a newer and better one(I30, though, no offense.). old one was scratched up w/ 80K miles, new one has 38K miles and MINT.

You can see the totalled on in the left of my sig.

I believe it is against state law to partake in certain unmentionable activities regarding the deceased or animals...combining the two would only compound your sentence.

The Max has been totalled out by Allstate. The car was pretty much bent in the middle. Good news is, I get $12,000 for it . Still dont know what to get next, oh well.

Sry sir? Well I seen its been taken care of anyway. The only thing I was able to take was my system out of my car, which was a pain in the a$$. Yes $12000 is very reasonable for an 01, I was expecting less from the insurance company.
It doesnt matter anyways, part of that money is going toward a down payment for a Titan and the rest is going to the wife for interior decorating and etc... . I must say, this is a great forum and I have learned quite a few things here, those Titan forum guys are insane with the mods as well.
