Blade's request for info was pretty simple. He is comparing Y pipes and he requested info from orgers with useful information and experience. He even said he has considered headers but he isn't going in that direction now. So, telling him to buy headers, turbos, or anything else you think would be better isn't constructive in this thread. If you have info that will help interested org members compare, select, or even find a y pipe for their 5.5 gen then please share. Other orgers like me who are shopping for a y pipe for a 5.5 gen appreciate it. If you're burning to add to the list of other mods that Blade should consider then please pm him with your important opinions.

again..see POST #6 i dyno'd my 6spd with a ypipe and intake and my #'s are good, as maybe im wrong but i put down the same WHP as NMEXMAX (sp) with his headers and he is an auto....

I should have been more clear sorry. i have had af y-pipe and header on my old 5.5gen ypipe did nothing. headers were a whole lot better. Good luck with your decision...
