DEPO! Good or Bad or Same as all else

Alright.,

So after speaking to a friend, that friend told me that a friend had a set of 2001 20th Anniversary headlights sitting in his garage. Brand New in the Box. I say, if he's not going to use them I will take them off his hands.

After days of talking on the phone. We accord on $60 for the two lights. They are both brand new in the box OEM replacement. I meet up with them today to pick them up. They are in fact brand new in sealed boxes. The name brand is Depo. I figure that for $60... What the Hell.

How is this brand DEPO? Anyone here know. The headlights look good. Just not sure on the brand. I looked around and they sell for like $120 a piece. So $60 for south sounds like a steal, unless they are ****.

FYI, I really messed up my current headlamps trying to sand them, so this could have not come at a better time.

I installed a Depo fog light not that long ago. ~60 for that. Looks close enough to OEM for me not to notice.

Want to buy some brighter bulbs for these? Any thoughts on what would be best?

I've used different Halogen bulbs. The best (whitest) I've found that are the Sylvania Silverstars. They are about 40 dollars for a pair.

Slightly less white/bright are the Sylvania cool blues. By slightly, I do mean very slighty, if you lined them up next to each other, you'd notice (I put one cool blue and one silverstar in, I could see the difference), but if you looked at a car with silvers and then walked away and saw another with blues, you wouldn't know the difference.

The cool blues are about 20 bucks a pair.

Blues sound good to me... I just want something a bit better than stock... Cool Blues sound like the right thing... Autozon? PepBoys?

i believe depo and tyc makes oem replacement parts for some cars. the se tails i bought were made my tyc and the 02-03 headlights i bought were made by depo. quality seems pretty good and fits perfectly.

Just installed them., the fit was good. I put the Silverstar on them., and it looks nice and clean...

Love the Anniversary edition look. Real HAPPY so far. Let's see how they hold up. But for $60 for both, WHO CARES.

I have once DEPO headlight on my '02. Only difference I can tell is the beam pattern. It is a little "scattered".
