Where does 01 cd changer plug in?

Hello, I have a 2001 cd changer from a maxima and I am wondering where does it plug in. Does it plug in directly to the radio or in the trunk. Also will it fit a 2000 maxima with factory bose? Thanks

How long is the wire coming from the CD changer? I would imagine it plugs right in into your Bose head unit.

the cd changer mounts back in the trunk. There should be wires from the cd changer will connect to the back of your Bose and to the car. Yes, it works with 2000 factory Bose.

So if there are no wires for a cd changer in the trunk, do you have to buy it from the dealer?
Because the cd changer that I have has a wire harness that's only about a foot long so obviously it won't hook up in the trunk without a second wire harness that hooks from the radio to the trunk.

Give DaveB a call, ask him this question. He is the man to talk to about any Nissan/Infiniti related parts. He operates out out a Nissan dealership in Texas. Here is the phone number 1.888.254.6060.
