There was some in it when I bought it from the guy, but now it doesn't have any oil. I know I am even overdue for an oil change too.
bought it in may and it was pretty much full and I changed it out in june, got an oil change in like july and I checked it a few weeks ago and it was empty and I know I am due for an oil change
not sure, but it came with the car from the owned who i bought it from. It was very nicely done though. The catch can is a plastic tube with a nipple on the bottom

my vote would be clogged pcv valve i guess...if it caught oil before...and its stopping now...thats the only thing i can think off...pull out the pcv valve and shake it..if u hear it rattle, it is GOOD...if theres no rattle, it is CLOGGEDOriginally Posted by aw89maxSE

PCV Valves are inexpensive, you can usually pick one up for less than $6. Before you do that, give the valve a quick shot of gumout, that'll usually loosen up any of the crap in it.

sludge, and excessive pressure in the crankcase.Originally Posted by steven88

that pressure can cause gaskets to go among other problems
ok, I was reading through the FAQ'a and came across a couple pictures of where it is, but I can't see it very well. Anyone have any pix showing where exactly it is and hot to replace it? I know it only takes few mins, I just want to be precise
