quick help (tire question)

before i begin i posted in the tire section and no response...

i need help with tires... i was reading on tire rack that 245 45 18 will fit the 9.5 width... any recommendation... i have another post about tires trying to get input on the (dunlop sp sport9000)... hit me back with some info please

btw i do not know the offset on these rite now... im in england...

also Potenza RE050 or michelin pilot sports i can get either or used with 80% thread left

I have 245/40 on my 18x8 rims, so yes they would fit, but you could easily go wider. That 45 sidewall would be a bit tall, though.

but these at 18x9.5 i have the g35s on my car rite now and i have 225 45 18 for the front and 245 45 18 on the rear and height of tires arent bad on the rear

Kabir 245/40-18 would preserve oem circumference and hence speedometer/odometer readings better. Nice wheels btw

You could easily fit 265-275's on that rim width, but, depending on the wheel offset, you may run into trouble with rubbing the fender lip. Dunlop SP's are a good tire. I'm running Falken Azenis St-115's, 245-35/19's, and love them. Great cornering, very good wet traction, quiet on the freeway, and very little $$. In the end, it all depends on what your particular needs are, and how much $$ you want to spend.
