To keep or not to keep

Alright..IDk wha to do I am in Iraq right now and my car is sitting there at home....My mom is not starting it nothing... I still have ten months to go my car has 115k miles tranny needs to be rebuilt and the front end is very loose and brakes are bad dont no if i should keep it or sell it and get something new like a new 06 07 max...I think it would be cheaper to keep it and fix it... IMO, keep it. Fix what needs fixing, replace what needs replacing. In the end you won't have the 5 or 6 years of car payments and you get to keep the car you love.

I say go w/ the brand new maxima man a nice lil reward for yourself when you get back from Iraq.... Personally if I had 115 k on a car and the tranny was going with the host of other problems thats the perfect reason to get a new car. Also, god bless and keep safe in Iraq, I have a buddy over there right now.

It's definitely a hard choice to make but it's all a matter of what you really want to do. I would never give up my 03 regardless but that's just me. I would take care of the problems she has and keep it moving. Although the new car smell is kind of intoxicating.

make a smart financial choice:
1. I assume the car is paid off...so it's not costing you anything to keep it.
2. You're not paying insurance on it right now, i assume?
3. Buying a new car is a poor investment

stay safe, and save your money!

yea fellas it seems to be to keep it..thnx for the support I am being safe wont let me leave base making me run the network! Anyway It proably would save me money by keeping it just for the fact if I got a new car would do the same all over again to the new one where its already done on this one..Does anyone know where I can get new parts for a decent price?
