for 2K SE Fed Emissions. I posted yesterday but no respond. got my pipe in with no instructions and no gaskets, Lady at Cattmen doesn't know. Any HELP

 

I'm begining to think no one has done a Y-Pipe install themselves on a 2K or U R just ignoring my post, This is not nice. both manifold ports on the Ypipe are the same size on the 2K vs the 4th Gen they are 2 differant sizes. Thats why I wanna make sure I get the right gaskets. the dealer says they are 2 differant sizes, looking at the pipe in my hand they are both the same size hole.

 

I remember GregP having part numbers in his write up of the Cattman Y. Try checking out his site.

 

Couldn't the dealer tell you? Wouldn't they be the same as what is on the stock system?

 

Just did my 4th gen Y-pipe. GregP's site was helpful but not exact for my '97 SE. (Don't know if the following helps you're 2000 but I'm trying)

Cattman ran out of gaskets cause of the group deal. You should've gotten the 3 page instructions at least. Very helpful with parts diagram. Have Laurie or Brian @ Cattman fax/e-mail em to you. (Mine won't be of help)

Both front tubes on my pipe were the SAME diameter and took the larger 20691-38U00 crush rings. The back looked right using the 20692-24U00. I had the pipe in my trunk when I went to Nissan and verified at the dealer before leaving (just fit it in place). Paid $20 for all 3.

Hopefully you don't have a Random Tech Cat. I'll vouch for GregP and others - the RTCat and Y-pipe connection blows. Literally. I'm gonna do new welds from the Cat back to the muffler to stop the hiss.
