Question about Swap?

I have a question. My boy is selling his 5.5 Gen Max, and he has black interior but with cloth interior. Wanted to know if its a big problem to swap in Black leather seats.. Would I need wires etc, and is the back seats just put in and thats it?

I've never done this on a Nissan, but every other manufacturer I've worked on has 4-6 bolts for the front seats to pop out and some heating element, power motor, and air bag system wires. If the two seats have the same hardware you would assume it should be plug and play. If one car has 6 directional controls and the new seat has 8 that may cause a problem.
Back seats are usually a little tougher. The bottom part of the seat is usually just clipped in or a few bolts, but the backs themselves are usually bolted in where you have to pull the carpet back to get to the bolts. But Nissan's may be abit different.

Also, you will want to pull the door panel cloth off and replace it with the leather to make it look decent. Is this other Max a parts car or what? You can order leather covers which are usually better then OEM off the net.

A good friend just did this on a 2000. He actually got a set of Infinity I30 seats with memory option and is having a hard time with the drivers seat. I guess he is wiring it up so it removes the memory option. The passenger seat was no problem. Under your seats there are wires there waiting for you to plug in. All in all, this is quite a simple install.
