Does the stillen brake upgrade work with 18's?
Just wondering, cause in the catalog it says that you must have 17's for the upgrade. But i've seen at various shows 2K Maximas with the crossed drilled stillen rotors wearing 18 inch wheels. Whats up with that, cause i have 18's and want the upgrade if possible.
Yes it will work, if Stillen is making it for the Y2K+. The reason that they specify 17" rims is because the rotors and caliper are larger than stock, which means that you need more space in your wheel. This is the reason that big money cars have big wheels, to clear the calipers and for cooling purposes. So the bigger the better.
