Dash Brake Light on when cold out

These last few morning when it was below freezing outside ( or close to it ), my emergency brake dash light is lite.

When I go to lunch around 11, it is off and functioning correctly.

Any ideas as to why ?

I would start first by checking your brake fluid. It may be low. Or, maybe your brake cable may be siezed or frozen when it's cold out. Check to see if you brake cable is working properly.

I had the same issue, my light would come on, after driving for a bit and the car warmed up the light would go off. Turned out to be my fluid was low, I would def check that first.

i have the same problem and my fluid is literally a pinch under the "minimum cold" marker. Could that be it?
