Has anyone came across this problem with their Maxima. I have a 2002 SE. I got my clutch done the other day and when I was driving my car home my check engine light came on.

So I put it on the scanner last night and a PO507 code came up (high idle). I looked at my tach and my car was indeed idleing unusually high. I checked all of my vacuum hoses and everything seemed intact.

Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?

Was the job done at a dealer? For access whoever did the job may have disconnected TB electrical connectors etc. As the idle is out of spec. it requires at least an Idle Air Volume Learn to be accomplished. I would go back to basics and accomplish Accel. Pedal Release Learn, Throttle Closed Pos. Learn first, as well.

 

Thanks for advice, I called my buddy at Marlborough Nissan, he said the same thing you did, have to relearn the idle. I'll just have them take care of it.
