Sweet another "how can I get my exhaust to sound like an Infiniti" thread.

My car sounds like an infiniti and a Maxima

 

Bro if you are trying to get that G35 / 350Z sound the closest you are going get sound wise is this set up:

-Cattman Headers (replaces manifold and y-pipe)
-Cattman or Frankencar B-Pipe
-Cattman or Frankencar Rear Piece (muffler and pipe leading to it)

While you are at it throw in a warpspeed or Random Technology high flow cat it might not help change the sound but a extra 1 - 2 hp can't hurt.

Quite frankly these set ups don't really come all that close however, they do sound cool none the less . I personally like the quieter more mellow sound of the Frankencar but now they are pretty hard to come by.

P.S. This set up will remove the precats from your exhaust system hence, making the process itself illegal and possibly making your car fail exhaust inspection.

The go and get one is the only chance you will have to come close to the sound. It sounds good......!!!

Hold on if you pay the engineers at Nissan enough money they probably could make it happen. Its a fact if you have enough dough you could make anything happen. However, chances are if we had that much cash we'd be driving around in Maserati Quattroportes or Maybachs.

True this is a stupid thread but damn man have a little fun. It could be worse like how do I get my Maxima VQ35DE to sound like a 421 Hemi. I'm sure that there are plenty of people on the org who thought about this for a quick second and quickly came to realize that it was impossible but as long as people wonder about this we are going to continue to get these repost so we minus well deal with them gracefully. Maybe even post a sticky that simply states NO!! to the question so people stop asking.

 

you have 19 posts...get a few more and you will realize how often this is asked. its right behind "best intake", "can i install auto climate control", and a few others

Maybe my lack of experience does factor in my levity regarding this issue but sarcasm is not going to scare us noobies away so having a sticky to address this problem may help. Fact is even the sticky won't completely alleviate the issue but to noobies that are diligent it will atleast once and for all answer the question.

 

there will never be a sticky just to tell new people that their car wont ever sound like an infiniti.
